Give It Some Heart! ~Heart Happiness & Bloomin' Love Stampin UP

Today I made this card for my friend Nancy.  Because she is the reason I ordered the Bloomin' Hearts thinlits from stampin up.  Nancy made a gorgeous card for my daughter's wedding.  I will share a picture of it below.
I also used the Bloomin' Love stamp set for the banner and sentiment.  The tiny hearts scattered in the background are from Heart Happiness, also a stampin up set.  I just did two different hearts but in multiple colors.  I think it turned out like lovely DSP.  I added a few sequins with pearl drop paint for some sparkle and also to match the sequin string underneath the banner.  A bit of glitter paper in the background to tie all that silver together.  I stamped a few little hearts on the inside to finish the card.

I wanted to share a picture with the flash on so you could see that the die cut heart is a metallic looking purple.  The flash brings that out a bit better.

I will submit this card to the challenge at:
The Challenge is Titled:  Give it some Heart. 💜 We are to use one or more hearts on our cards.

Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit.  I  Hope you're having a fabulous day.

CTS #259~Happy Trails

The second card I made today is for the challenge at: Case This Sketch

I used my giant sentiment "We are off" from a set that I picked up at a consignment shop awhile ago.  I then used Lawn Fawn's cute little Happy Trail set for the rest of the images.  After stamping and coloring I die cut each of them out.   The background paper is a gift from my friend Nancy I thought it would work great with my travel theme.
I am hoping we don't get the yucky weather they are forecasting tomorrow, but being we live in WI.  it can't be all sunny and warm yet.  At least we are above zero as far as temps go.
Thank you so much for stopping by to check out my card.  I encourage you to browse around my blog and see my other projects.  I'd love to have you sign up and follow my blog.

TTTC035~Hold on To Hope Stampin UP

I made this card today for my SCS (Scripture Card Sunday)  I used my new stampin up set called Hold on to Hope.  What a wonderful bunch of cross dies this set has with it.  I was so happy to find a challenge I could play along with.. so I will submit this card to:

I chose the left hand side straight down.  To go along with my gray card stock I picked a soft pink and bold black.  I think the contrasting colors work really well here.   My die cut oval made the perfect little window for the scripture verse, and then I die cut it in black to make a frame for the oval.    I scattered a few of the enamel dots on the card as well.
Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you will take a moment and check out my other cards, projects and pictures.

RRCB80 & Challenge 356 - Polka Dots~ Garden Whimsy Stampin UP

My last card of the day is for two challenges:

and
I used my stampin up 2007 Garden Whimsy for the flower and butterfly, because they each had a couple polka dots in the image.  I then used Teeny Tiny Wishes also from stampin up for the sentiment.  I have had this set for awhile, but I think you can still order it.  I have such a hard time looking up the years. I've tried going to split coast stampers like a dear lady suggested once, but apparently I don't know how to research very well.   Any ways back to the card  I added a few little embellishment dots to go with the them of dots.  I even dotted up the inside of the card too.
HP is still not himself, and has now developed an even more entitled attitude since the ear infection... here is a picture of his smug little look today.  haha. He is so fluffy with this winter coat.

Challenge #103~Country Livin'

My second card for today I made for: Time Out Challenges
I was determined to make it one layer, and boy did it become challenging.   I used stampin up's Country Livin' and work of art.  For the sentiment I used a little stamp I got from Walmart.. and the notes are from a Lawn Fawn set.  I think it turned out pretty swell.  I thought of my dad with this card because he plays the guitar so well.. I even drew in the little black image to make it look like his guitar.   I can just imagine him playing this  song Count Your Blessings along with many many more.. one of my favorites.. I'll fly away,  and Johnny Cash's Folsom Prison, loved the way he would tap the guitar between picking, just made it sound awesome.

FMS324~Amazing You & Watercolor Wings Stampin UP

I made this card for the challenge at: Freshly Made Sketches
I used two stampin up sets to create this card.  Watercolor Wings and Amazing You.  I didn't really know how to work with my butterfly 3 step stamp, but I think the sparkle paper  I die cut covers up all the mistakes lovely.    I added a few little embellishments to give it that extra something special.😉
Goodness gracious So much to do and nothing but stamping is getting done.  Just one of those days.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #440~Basket Bunch

I made this card today for the challenge at:
I too remember this sketch, and I also struggled with it.  However, today I was looking over my little stamp collection and thought try something different.  SO folks here it is.  My early Easter card.  I used Stampin Up's Basket Bunch to create this card.  I colored in the images after stamping them and then fussy cut some out and die cut others.  I really like how it turned out.  I especially get a kick out of the sentiment.. it "cracks" me up.

I'm sharing a picture of the shadow box I finished last night for the newly weds, our daughter and son in law.  I think it turned out pretty nice.   I was so happy to be a part of the planning process.  In fact I made the invites you see there too.
