I made this card for the challenge at: Freshly Made Sketches
The paper is a beautiful navy color background, which didn't take good pictures here.  So I used a flash so you could see it a bit better and the sparkle star too.  I kept it very clean and simple with no embellishments.   A bit of coloring and fussy cutting is all it took to make this card.  I always wonder what to use to color in sheep? because white on white never turns out for me.    Anyways  just wanted to pop in with one last card for the day.  A bit tired and overwhelmed with the week ahead of me, but praying it all goes well.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #432 & SCS

This had to be one of my most difficult cards to photograph in awhile.   My gosh.  I wanted to capture the glitter paper that I used for 2 sections of the snow.  But when I would use the flash it's like the paper would disappear, and when I didn't use the flash it looked like I had black trees.  Let me assure you the color is a deep rich hunter green.   And you'll notice 4 trees on my card instead of two like the sketch at:
Tuesday Morning Sketches  suggests.
Well folks that was due to the fact I needed to cover up a little mistake.😉  Funny thing is, I also have 4 pictures posted because I couldn't make my mind up to which one looked the best.  Any ways it was fun making this card to submit to the challenge.  It also serves as my SCS card because the verse in the tree.
On a completely different note.. I am asking for prayer for 2 days this week. Especially on Wednesday.  I can't share the details, but it's a very important day and I need peace, courage, mercy that I will be accepted.  Thank you so much.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit, especially during this very busy time of the year.

HSS Inspiration Challenge #278~Hearts Come Home For Christmas

Well folks, I stamp like I write.  Which means I go from printing to cursive in one word, I go from 1st person to 3rd in a paragraph, and apparently in this card I can't make my mind up.. if I'm viewing from the inside of a house out to the neighborhood.. or am I  looking in the house.  I say that because I decided to emboss the background with brick which would make one think we are looking in the house, but the window shows that we are looking out.  good golly talk about being consistent in inconsistency 😉
I am going to submit this card to the challenge at:
I stuck with the reds, greens and gray for my card.   I also chose the little houses, santa and the snowman from the picture.  I tried to capture a little bit of everything in the windowpane.
Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit.

SSC167 WINTER WARMTH~Wrapped in Warmth, Wonderland

Are you all busy getting ready for Christmas?  I told myself today would be the day I start writing out Christmas cards, well  I have not.  I ended up working on the making part.  That's always my most favorite thing to do.
I made this card using two stampin up sets:  Wonderland for the snowy background and Wrapped in warmth for the sentiment.  I masked off the rest of the sentiment to just use the "keep warm" part.   The mitten is a die that I've had for a while and after cutting it once in red I cut it again in white to make the cuffs.  I added the cute button and ric rac ribbon for trim.  I then embossed them to make it look like they were really knit together.  Gosh I wish I knew how to knit.  I would make socks and mittens all the time.  With all fun colors to make a person happy.

I'm going to submit this card to the challenge at: Sunday Stamps

We are to use 3 of the colors.  I chose 2 different grays and the red.
I also added a picture of HP enjoying the snowfall.  He loves it.
Thank you so much for stopping by.

Jingle All the Way Card Challenge, SUO Challenge #189, Favorite Holiday Colors! Christmas Classic & Seasonal Bells

I'm going to be submitting this card to the following challenges:

Favorite Holiday Colors.
Jingle All the Way Card Challenge

I have to say I'm a fan of all things traditional when it comes to the Holidays and that goes for colors too.  I love the bold reds and greens.  Silver and gold, (which reminds me of the song in Rudolf The Red Nose Reindeer  and I love deep blue and silver together which is what I did here for my card.  I was going to emboss the bells in silver sparkle, but I thought I would let the background paper shine this time.  Of course I had to have Silver bells  playing in the background.
I layered the bells with the navy and then fussy cut out the little jingle bell which was attached to the sentiment.    I added one itty bitty little jewel on top.  I used the Seasonal Bells and Christmas Classic from stampin up.
I think it turned out really nice.

Challenge #75, Merry Monday #268 {Santa Hat},Challenge # 184 Snowman

This mischievous snowman is thinking perhaps of trading in his top hat for the festive Santa one.   I like how he is contemplating the decision, but isn't quite there yet.  After all he is a gentlemen.  haha..
I'm going to submit this card to the following challenges:

Challenge # 184 Snowman
This card was a lot of die cutting and with small images, so my fingers were having a difficult time, it took way longer then it should have.    I love how the stamped sentiment looks so nice under the snow globe.  Did you notice I embossed the snowy background in the globe?
Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

FUSION - Blue Gift~Brightly Lit Christmas

I made this card using my Brightly Lit Christmas set from stampin up.  I'm going to submit this card to: Fusion Card Challenge
I had a difficult time with stamping that lamp post today.  I even tried to use a piece of packing material/like a mouse pad to give it some cushion, but it just didn't want to stamp nicely at all.  BUT I did not give up, so this is the best one I got out of about 10 tries.  I then cut it out and colored in the soft glow of a light.  It represents the vertical line on the fusion challenge.. the horizontal line I forgot about, so I then quickly went back to slip some sparkle twine behind the lamp post, which meant that I had to had some little embellishment, aww~ the jingle bells.  They are so super cute and just the right touch for this card.   I wish I could have lowered the twine on the card, so it would go behind the presents too, but they were glued on mighty strong and I didn't want to ruin the card.   I fussy cut out all the elements.  I try to same money and not by matching dies, but sometimes I think it would be very nice to have them.
I thought I'd share a picture of our little tree like I promised yesterday.  It's not much but we love it.  It's all I can do for now.
I must start working on mailing out Christmas cards today.
I have received 2 already, and they are showcased on the door frame.  I will post a picture of that when it gets full.  (hopefully it will)  I love getting cards 💖
